Start a fence request
Send the details of your fence project
A short note with your address and a handful of photos is enough to begin. Your request goes to a residential fence contractor working Indianapolis and the nearby south and west side towns, and that contractor reaches out to talk through the yard and set up a visit.
Request a site visit
Give us the address, the fence you picture and anything odd about the yard, and we'll pass it straight along.
Email admin@indianapolisfencepros.com with the property address, what you want built or fixed, and a few photographs, including anywhere water stands after a heavy rain.
What makes a request easy to answer
Nobody can price a fence from a sentence, but a little detail saves a wasted trip. These help most:
- The property address, so the contractor can check which city, town or township rules apply.
- Photos of the whole line, both corners and any spot where the ground dips, holds water or meets a slope.
- A rough length if you have one; pacing it off is fine.
- The material you are leaning toward, or simply "not sure yet."
- How many gates you want, and whether one needs to be wide enough for a mower or trailer.
- Whether a homeowners association reviews fences in your neighborhood, and any approval already in hand.
- For repairs, what broke and roughly when it started leaning, sagging or dragging.
Once your request is submitted
A local fence contractor looks over your details and photos, then reaches out to schedule a look at the property. Cost, scope and timing are settled by that contractor after seeing the ground in person, never by this website. Expect questions about pets, pools, buried lines and your property markers. Before anyone digs, the utility locate through Indiana 811 has to be requested, and any permit or association sign-off gets sorted out first.
Spring and early summer tend to be the busiest stretch for fence work across central Indiana, and wet clay can push digging back a few days after heavy storms. Sending your request early simply leaves more room to get approvals settled before the ground is ready.
Not sure which kind of fence suits the yard? The fence services overview compares the options, and the service areas page explains how each nearby community changes the job.
